Allen Family Reunion

This last week we were lucky enough to spend time with Griffin's side of the family by having a family reunion in Idaho! We went up to early Monday to spend some time with the family. On Tuesday we headed to our lodge in Island Park. The lodge was big and beautiful and was fun to have the family all under one roof!

Wednesday we floated down Henry Fork's river and boy was it cold! It was fun to see how everyone reacted to the cold and how we all helped each other along the way. By the end of the float, our bodies were numb but it was a lot of fun to see the sights and we even saw a mama moose and two babies!

Thursday the family headed to Yellowstone in our lovely bright orange reunion shirts! We definitely stood out but it was fun to know where and who were our family in the crowds. Yellowstone was so fun and it was fun to see the sights and the animals!

Friday we went to a Mountain man Rendezvous and went shooting up in the mountain. Shooting was a lot of fun and definitely something we don't get to do often in Utah!

Then Saturday we checked out of the lodge, took family pictures and then headed back to Rexburg where we went to see the Mesa Falls and feed fish! Then we sadly made our way back to Utah so we could be at church to announce this week's Sunday school activity we are planning.

The reunion was a blast and it was good to build closer relationships and just laugh and have fun with each other! We can't wait for the next one in two years!
