Our Christmas this year was spent in Florida! We had a magical Christmas with my side of the family and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better Christmas!
We left Saturday, December 15th and instantly started the break with a splash! We met up with Whit's family and Pei Wei and then went to Menchies for dessert! Sunday was spent at church and home catching up on everything that has been going on in our lives with our family and friends. That next week we spent at Nana and Pepi's relaxing and then meeting up with Jake at Animal Kingdom on Wednesday! Animal Kingdom wasn't crowded at all so we had a fun time jumping from one attraction to the next without having to wait very much! Saturday was spent at SeaWorld and we had a blast seeing all the new attractions and just enjoying the animals and family. Monday was Christmas Eve and we had my Grandad and Uncle Jim over for dinner. It was so fun to see them again and catch up on old times! Christmas Day was magical! I wasn't expecting anything this Christmas since our trip was our Christmas gift but my sweet parents put together this beautiful toy basket for us and a couple of adorable baby clothes! While opening these gifts, we realize, again, how surreal it is that we are having a baby! Wednesday was spent at home playing with Jack and his new Christmas toys! Thursday we headed to Clearmont to see Jake's and Whitney's new houses and boy were they both enchanting! The rest of Thursday and Friday was spent just relaxing at Whitney's house and just enjoying the time we had together. Sadly, at 4am Saturday morning we had to go back to cold Utah!
We are so grateful for my family and for the wonderful warmth we felt at their homes. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family who love us and whom we love very much. We are so grateful for this time of year to celebrate our Savior's birth and the wonderful gift He gave of himself so that we might live with Him again.
