Our weekend in Idaho

Griffin's good friend, Josh Fisher, got married this weekend in Idaho Falls, Idaho and asked Griffin to be one of his groomsmen. We did the four hour car drive on Friday night and stayed at Paige and Matt's apartment. Saturday morning we went over to Idaho Falls and spent the afternoon getting ready for the wedding and hanging out with Stuart and Lindy Wilson. The wedding started at 6pm. The ceremony was beautiful with beautiful scenery behind them of a river and trees. We enjoyed our time there and are very happy for Josh and Annie and wish them the best in their marriage.

Sunday we spent the day with Paige and Matt. We all went to church and then came home and Paige and Matt made us a wonderful dinner and then took us to see the sights of Idaho. Our first stop was the Messa falls. The waterfall was big and beautiful and the surrounding area was full of trees. We have never seen such a big waterfall so it was fun to experience it for the first time together.

Our last stop was the sand dunes. We sure got a work out hiking up the sand dunes but it was worth it! We enjoyed the view and even did a little jumping off the dunes! We had a great time with Paige and Matt and it was fun to see their neck of the woods!

On our long journey home we stopped at Lagoon! Griffin had never been there and I haven't been there since I was little so it was fun to experience Lagoon together. We went because we had coupons but we found out that they didn't work that day, just our luck! We decided since we were there we should just pay the money and go in. So we did and did our best to get our money out of the park. We hit all the rides we could, even though I was motion sickness most of the day. But the highlight ride was the "Rocket". It is the tallest ride in the park that shoots you up and then you fall straight down. It was quite a nerve racking experience waiting for the ride but it was definitely worth it and really gave us an adrenaline rush. But overall, we enjoyed our day at Lagoon as it was our last hooray before going back to work and school.
